TODAY CAN BE THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION.
In life, there is a day to be born and the day to die or taken into Heaven by means of the Rapture. In whatever way, we all wish to find a place of Eternal rest where we will no longer be in pain but live joyfully with the Lord and forever.
We all need salvation so that we can be free from the bondage of Satan and the bondages of this life then lead a peaceful and joyful life. That life which is beyond the material possessions of this world. We all need that peace and joy which comes from the Lord Jesus.
You will agree with me that money has its own peace and joy; likewise a car, a beautiful home and a good marriage too. A beautiful bicycle can also bring in joy but when its handlebar and the hub are broken and the chain cut into pieces, that joy and the peace of travel are all gone. They were temporary. They were based on the durability of that bicycle.
TODAY CAN BE THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION.
You will realise that all these, apart from the Lord, have no eternal peace and joy. A storm or war can arise at any time and disrupt our possessions in this world. But the peace and joy that come from the Lord are not dependent upon material possessions nor those circumstances around us. They are sure as the fruit of the Spirit of Christ. They are not dependent upon money, possessions or material things. They are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. That is the peace and joy that the world needs today. There are many storms in this world which can instantly destroy the peace and joy that come from material possessions and related circumstances. That was why Jesus said that:
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27 (NKJV)
When Jesus Christ offers you a salvation package, he includes this peace and joy; not that which is based on material possessions or surrounding circumstances. This peace and joy come from him amidst the storms of this life. They will sustain us through our difficulties as we are waiting to go to Heaven. He offers these as part of GOD’s salvation package to humanity. Material things and money are good when you are with the Lord. On their own, they fall short of eternal peace and joy. As material things are temporary, their peace and joy are also temporary and incomplete. True peace and Joy come as the fruits of the Holy Spirit – who is the Spirit of Christ. Therefore, real peace and joy come from the Lord Jesus. That is why he is called the Prince Of Peace. He promised to give us peace that the world (money, material things plus governments) cannot give. We all need this peace and we need the joy.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 NKJV

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Gal 5 (NKJV)
¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. ²⁴ And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
These are the fruits of the Holy Spirit that come to you when you repent of all your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 NKJV
Indeed, the peace of GOD which comes through Christ will surpass all understanding.
It is part of the gift of salvation and it’s eternal- in this life and that to come. Isn’t that beautiful and great. Even the UN and any non- governmental organization cannot give such peace. It’s from GOD; found in and through Christ only. It’s released through his Spirit as one of His fruits. We all need this peace amidst thes troubled waters of this sinking world.

The Bible says:
John 3 (NKJV)
¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
When the Bible says that: GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, you and me were included. We were (and some are still) in sin but instead of God sending judgement He sent salvation. It’s not like that generation of Noah which was judged by water and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which were judged by fire.
This time, he has not done the same. Instead of such judgments, He sent His beloved Son to save you and me. Isn’t that great love and grace? To me, GOD’s grace means the maximum of His love and mercy put together and results into free salvation to the sinner. Then sin no more or lead a holy life after this salvation. A life totally set apart to the will of GOD.
What remains is for you to humble yourself and come to Him with true repentance and receive your salvation.

Let me finish by saying this and with reference to the Bible:
John 3 (NKJV)
¹ There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. ² This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” ³ Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” ⁴ Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” ⁵ Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
We are born biologically but when we start a brand- new life in the Lord, by turning from sin and receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, it becomes a spiritual birth. You are born a brand-new person in the kingdom of GOD or spiritually.
The murders, the adultery that you committed; the robbery, the fights, the cult that you were involved in, just to mention some, are all forgiven. They are erased through the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You have become a brand- new or a born- again person.
This way of salvation is found no where in the world except in Jesus Christ. There is no religion that offers salvation in that way. It is found in Jesus Christ only and it’s called grace. That is why there is no other religion that has a Savior in this world or that is why there is no other Savior in the world except Jesus Christ. You should surrender to him today.
Now you have become a good and fertile ground for the Holy Spirit and His fruits and gifts including peace and joy. That is how salvation works. So, these are part of the salvation package from the Lord Jesus.
TODAY CAN BE THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION.
When a Pharisee and a teacher of the Law came to Jesus on the issues of salvation and wanted to know this (vs 9, 10, 11), we should not treat his questioning as a small issue.
John 3 :9 NKJV
⁹ Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”
¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?
¹¹ Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.
The topic was quite big. He weighed himself and found that something greater was missing. So he went to Jesus to learn about the new life. Traditional Christians, Muslims, Rastafarians, world leaders and politicians; scientists, lecturers and billionaires were supposed to do this through his ministers. Nicodemus also represents the elite- those at the top of the world. They are at the top but may be at the bottom in the things of salvation or the things of the kingdom of God. They can miss the greater glory of the life to come but Jesus loves and died for them too. No one was left out in GOD’s grace through Jesus Christ. He died for them too hence the example of Nicodemus.
We should come over to that point where we realise that we have billions of dollars, mansions, beautiful cars and homes, PhDs; we have medals in the military and many more but we are missing something greater. We should come over to this very point like Nicodemus. You will not wait until GOD Himself weighs you in His balance and be found wanting. Do not be found in the position like that of Belshazzar the king of Babylon.
Dan 5 (NKJV)
²⁴ Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written. ²⁵ “And this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. ²⁶ This is the interpretation of each word. Mene: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; ²⁷ Tekel: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; ²⁸ Peres: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” ²⁹ Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. ³⁰ That very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain. ³¹ And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about sixty-two years old.
That was dangerous- a result of not honoring The Most High GOD. We should think about that.
TODAY CAN BE THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION.
Let Me Share This Night Vision:
I had a night vision and saw a prominent footballer from Africa on a football contract in another continent in the East. I saw him fall suddenly and die. The vision ended. But I had understanding why that happened to him.
If you ponder on this, you will see that this life is temporary. We will all leave this place to another. Sometimes, death is coming suddenly or instantly. On the other hand, Jesus is coming soon and we are caught up in the middle.
If we see Jesus as delaying but on the other hand, death is still coming fast and sometimes sudden. So we are still caught in the middle.
In this world, there is time to be born and time to die. One time we will leave this world and go to that destiny we built while on Earth; to be with the Lord Jesus or with the cruel master in Hell and later, the Lake of Fire. The choices we make today will determine our destiny tomorrow.
You can make a good choice today. You can repent your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then live with him in peace and joy forever.
TODAY CAN BE THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION.
PRAYER.
Heavenly father, I humble myself before you. I repent all my
sins and ask for your forgiveness. I open my heart and receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I forgive every person who has offended me and ask you to write my name in the Book Of Life.
